Differentiation of Science and Philosophy

Philosophy differs to Science in terms of:

  • Approach
Science describes their object of study part by part while Philosophy attempts to do it as a whole or comprehensively.

  • Scope
Science eliminates the personal factor and ignores values in its drive for objectives while Philosophy is interested in personality, value, and all realms of human experiences.

  • Nature
Science aims to observe nature and to control process while Philosophy criticizes, evaluates, and intergrates various dimensions of life.
